Wordle History

I only started tracking the number of attempts it takes me on 4/11/2024, but I also had the statistics from the (NYTimes) website, so I loaded them arbitrarily using the dates 2/29/2024 and going backward, which took me back to 5/21/2022 to put them all in. Due to no real order or sequencing of those entries, any analysis that includes those historical dates (5/21/2022 - 2/29/2024) needs to include them ALL or NONE!

8/22/2024: I filled in the blanks on 198 missing words. I mention this because the fact that they don't re-use words means there are less to worry about, so my accuracy starting tomorrow should be a little bit better (well, maybe! hahahah). Rationale: I recently made changes to how I determine each guess to hopefully be more efficient, and yes, T9 basically nagged me into this ...

1/17/2026: No "nagging" by T9, but due to a 1-way conversation, I decided to track how LONG it takes to do each daily word (it's a Duration in DB-lingo).

3/23/2026: A little while back (2/2/2026 is when I noticed it) I realized that words WERE being RE-USED. As of today, the latest date with a re-used word is 4/11/2022 when SQUAD was used (it was used again on 2/17/2026).
